Selvaraghavan’s Irandam Ulagam spoke about two worlds and the triumph of love. Giving life to his story were Arya and Anushka and Harris Jeyaraj’s brilliant tracks. Anirudh was also brought on board to do the background score for the film. Shot in exotic locales in Georgia, Irandam Ulagam was notable for its fantasy elements and the effort in visual effects, however the movie didn't succeed in connecting with the general audience as expected.
