Tamil movie Mersal directed by Atlee starring actor Vijay in the lead role has faced a lot of controversial issues from the national ruling party post the release due to dialogues that voice about GST and Digital India. The movie has been facing release difficulties due to issues related to AWBI and CBFC before getting screened in theatres.
