This song has already garnered enough eyeballs for being in the classic Ilayaraja template. This is a nice throwback to the 80s when Raja ruled the roost with his usage of live orchestras, vocal harmonies and well-trained singers. A job well done by composer Kannan and his choice of SPB and Chitra gives the desired effect without any hitches. Hope this song is done tastefully on screen even if it is meant to be a spoof.
