He too was one of the Boys. Originally an assistant director with Mani Ratnam, Siddharth’s career changed course with Boys. Given one of the most prominent characters amongst the five, he grabbed the opportunity and shone. His acting career has gone from strength to strength from that point of time. He has not been much into regular commercial fare and is not been seen much in Kollywood since, concentrating mostly in Telugu. He also has some topnotch projects in Hindi like Rang De Basanti and a few offbeat types like Striker. If Shankar had been scouting for unique talent, then he got it spot on with Siddharth.
