Few songs in recent memory made the impact Vaala Meenu did. Even the kids knew the lyrics by heart because there was no escaping it. It was weird but a number that had a guy in a ludicrously bright yellow shirt crooning into a mike held by a skinny sidekick with Malavika gyrating in the background somehow managed to capture the imagination of millions. A delightful piece of work!
