The song Otha Sollala from Aadukalam is fast becoming a legend simply because never before has a dance number been so different and yet so perfect. Who would have thought a lungi could convey so much joy? Dhanush responds to the object of his desire’s declaration of love and breaks into an impromptu song and dance routine in an outpouring of delirious happiness. And he transports us as well with a twirl of his lungi. Choreographer Dinesh won the National award for his inspired work and seldom was an award more deserved.
