Abhiyum Naanum has to be one of the few movies that portrayed the often unseen father – daughter relationship in movies. The movie could have become melodramatic and juvenile if not for Prakash Raj’s supremely written character strength. Although known for his tough roles, Prakash pulls it of with consummate ease as Trisha’s father.
