Kamal was in his comic element in this movie. The perfect Madras slang and a sense of humor that did not fail to make even the grumpiest person smile and the inimitable Prabhu for company. To say that their chemistry was good would be clichéd, but the way their combination worked is perhaps proof of the rapport they share in real life; Kamal like a big brother to Prabhu.
