As much as she’s known for her roles in movies, Revathy has already become an established director with critically acclaimed movies to her credit as a director. Her Mitr, My Friend was screened in many international film festivals and Phir Milenge received average success at the box office but was raved about for its treatment of the sensitive subject of an AIDS patient’s life. She directed the story of Makal in the Malayalam anthology movie Kerala Café released in 2009 and also directed the Parcel segment in Mumbai Cutting.
