Raj Kiran gave the performance of his career as the dad who was prepared to live his life as penance for the wellbeing of his sons, Cheran was apt foil as son. But, it is Cheran the director who deserves the applause for creating such a sensitive and touching portrayal of the love of a father. The movie can be felt and experienced by just about anyone.
