A soft and cute love story. It is one movie that one can instantly fall in love with. The big joint family headed by the over protective and possessive Prakash Raj, the small home where only Hasini and her father all seemed to have been picked straight from the lives of people around us. The problem faced by the frustrated Jayam Ravi due to a dad who literally strangled him with love, the problems faced by the young lovers and the way it is all sorted out in an emotional outburst at the climax makes Santosh Subramaniam one of the best family entertainers in recent years. No unnecessary commercial additives, item songs, double edged dialogues etc. It is one movie that can be seen and enjoyed by everyone.
