Hits, offbeats, potboilers, mammoth budgeters….. you name it and 2009 had it, even horror was present in generous amounts. We would definitely like to see Kollywood replicate the variety it showed in 2009, perhaps things could get even better. But, for that to happen we need the skilled and the promising directors to be in action. Many of them are, but there are quite a few who have been tight lipped about their future plans. Here, we take a look at the hit makers and the newcomers who caught the eye in the recent past but are not yet ready with their next projects as yet.
