Apart from Rajini playing an extended cameo and Pasupathy’s acting, the film was nothing to write home about. But before its release, the footage showing Vadivelu shaving off a man’s head resulting in bleeding was not taken too kindly by the barbers who felt that it undermines their job. But after watching the movie, they calmed down for there was nothing in it the film that looked bad for the barbers’ community.
