Mithun plays the NRI Mappillai in Sandai. Sundar C and Vivek have a field day making him look like a fool and he is the victim of their scheming and plotting. Needless to say, he does not get the girl and not only because he mistakenly thought that her mother (played by Nadiya) was to be his bride.
