Karthik Srinivasan played Ria’s (Ileana) price – tag obsessed fiancé in Nanban. Pari (Vijay) exposes him as the supercilious twit he is to Ria and breaks up their engagement only to drive him back into her arms when he walks out on her. Ria is all set to marry him when his good friends persuade Ria to ditch him at the altar and run off with them in search of Pari. After that all izzz well for everybody except the hapless fiancé of course.
