The movie Pathinaaru released early in 2011 that almost everyone has forgotten about it now. It did not make a big mark at the box office but it did have a couple of well picturised songs. One of them was ‘kattu chedikku’, a song that charted the life of two characters starting from primary school to high school. Yuvan’s composition and voice lent that earthy and rural feel to the song. The picturisation too, with the locations, casting and very good editing made the song a mini-story in itself. The movie also had another good montage in ‘Yaar solli kadhal varuvadhu’.
