VISHAL'S TAKE ON THE STATE FILM AWARDS

The long pending Tamil Nadu State Film Awards have been announced for the period 2009 to 2014, yesterday, the 13th July. Expressing his thanks over this, Vishal, in the capacity of the President of Tamil Film Producers Council, had issued a press note which is as follows:

“Two of our many pleas to the government were the grants for Tamil films and also the state government awards for Tamil films. We are glad that the government has considered these two favorably and announced about the same. 

On behalf of Tamil Film Producers Council and also of the entire film fraternity, I express my heartfelt thanks to Edappadi Palanisamy, the Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Kadambur Raju the Minister for Information and Publicity and to all the government officials”.
