WHY DID ABIRAMI RAMANATHAN MEET THE TN CM?

This morning, a delegation led by Abirami Ramanathan, on behalf of Theatre Owners Association, met the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Edappadi Palanisamy at the Secretariat. During this meeting, Kadambur Raja, Minister for Information and Publicity was also present.
During this meeting, Abirami Ramanathan had requested a change in the cinema ticket rates in the state and also for a uniform ticket pricing across all the theatres in the state. Earlier on, the state Finance Minister Jayakumar had conveyed the feelings of Tamil Nadu film fraternity to Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on the issue of GST. The delegation thanked the CM for this. They also sought to make the procedures to shoot in common places and in temples in Tamil Nadu simpler. Finally, they requested the Chief Minister to officially inaugurate the Film Chamber of Commerce.
