WHY SHOULD VIJAY SETHUPATHI PLAY AJITH'S BADDIE IN THALA 57?

Apparently there are some rumors being circulated that Vijay Sethupathi has been roped in to play the anti-hero in Ajith’s upcoming film directed by Siruthai Siva. When we spoke to our sources close to Thala 57 camp, they said it’s not true and they are yet to finalize on the villain.

It must be noted that Vijay Sethupathi has previously played a negative role in Sasikumar’s Sundarapandian. Going by the choice of his script, he is someone who doesn’t mind about star image. If he feels a character is unique and he has a good scope in it, he will sign the dotted lines.

Why would it be hard for Vijay Sethupathi to choose this project?

* Vijay Sethupathi is one of the most busiest actors in K-Town right now with half a dozen films in his kitty. He has a big itinerary which runs long enough till the end of next year. Could his call sheet allot space for this project is a big question mark.

*  Though a negative shade is something not new for Vijay Sethupathi, it is going to be a difficult discussion for a leading hero to break his trend and do a baddie out of the way. Not that no one has tried that before but our top heroes are always hesitant to do.

* Taking such important decision might even change Sethupathi’s career.

Why would Vijay Sethupathi be tempted to do the role if it is offered?

* The sole reason for this would be Ajith. Every actor would love to share the screen space with Ajith given a chance. And that would be the only tempting factor for Vijay Sethupathi if he is offered the role.
