AYM TRAILER 2 REVIEW!

The 2nd trailer of Simbu’s AYM is out and it is a crisp cut coming to about 1 minute and 40 seconds. If a trailer triggers you to think what the story is about and makes you relentless to watch the film, then it’s a good one. This trailer of AYM does just that. It's quite different to the ones that were released earlier. This is more fun, vibrant and power-packed. This series of extracts from the film belongs to editor Antony as much as it does to anyone else.

Gautham Menon has his unique way of filmmaking. Just like his other films, the dialogues and the whole presentation  that you see look super fresh. Right from the very first frame which starts with the roaring ‘vroom vroom’ noise of a sports bike engine, the RR and sound mixing play an important role in this trailer. The sound gives a different dimension to the play. Of course, that is pretty much expected as the background score his from AR Rahman.

Be it his expressions or his dialogue delivery, Simbu owns the screen. Proves again that he is a wonderful performer. It’s sad that we don’t get to see him on the big screen often. Manjima Mohan is so beautiful and she looks to be a neat performer too. However, there is a slight lip-sync issue especially the part where she says ‘un kooda varalam nu pathean’. We hope they correct such minor flaws.

On the whole, this trailer sends across the message loud and clear that we are in for a uber cool action love story.
