BANGALORE TO HAVE A FIXED TICKET PRICE?
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil News StoriesBy Akash | May 14, 2017
The cinema ticket prices in Bangalore were earlier varying between Rs.110 to Rs.350 on weekdays and Rs.260 to as high as Rs.600 on weekends depending upon the movie. There were a lot of complaints that these prices were too high for the audiences and that it was not feasible and economical.
With regard to this, the Multiplex theatre association have fixed a rate of Rs.260 on cinema tickets on all days of the week including the weekends. This fixed 260 rupees tag on the tickets is to benefit both the audiences and the theatres. Also, the smaller screens will continue to have slightly lower prices and this 260 rule has not been implemented officially but has been practised by the multiplexes as a sign of change for Bangalore’s ticket rate scenario!
