Earlier, a few days ago, we had reported that the Karnataka Government had formed a committee to revise the theatre ticket prices in Bangalore and other towns in the state.
The Chief Minister of Karnataka, Siddaramaiah, officially issued a statement in which it was stated that the ticket prices will cost not more than 200 Rs, and 200 will be the maximum ticket price, that a theatre can extend up to. Earlier, theatre ticket prices at Bangalore used to cost around 250-700, but this newly revised rate has indeed made the Bangalore people feel happy about it.
The order was passed by the Karnataka Government, but, these ticket rates are not applicable for Gold Class tickets, IMAX and 4DX theatres.
