EXTRA BOOST FOR PONGAL RELEASES

This year Pongal will witness the release of four Tamil movies, Thara Thappattai, Gethu, Kathakali and Rajini Murugan. It sure is going to be a great festive season for the families this Pongal.

Usually on such festive days alone, theatres are allowed to have an extra show (5^th one). But, much to audiences’ delight and theatre owner’s happiness, Tamil Nadu government has issued an order that allows the theatre owners to have an extra show (i.e. the 5^th show) from 18^th to 21^st January. Already there is an order to have the extra 5^th show from 15^th to 17^th January. This means that there would be five shows from 15^th to 21^st January.

This would definitely give a major boost to the collections and also to the delight of the audience.
