AFTER MAYA…

Aari who was seen last in Maya, will be doing his next film titled Unnodu Kaa that will be directed by debutant RK and produced by Abirami Ramanathan. This film will have Mankatha fame Shakthi Saravanan wielding the camera and Sathya C of Engeyum Eppodhum fame doing the music. Kalyan master will be choreographing the dance moves and Ramya will be the costume designer for the film. While there will be two heroines in the film, the hunt is still on to get the right women leads. Prabhu, Oorvashi, Manobala and Mansoor Ali Khan will play the supporting leads.

Talking about the film, Aari states, “Unnodu Kaa is a comedy entertainer with a social message. For the first time, I will be playing the role of an antique seller. The film begins on the 20^th January with a small Pooja. I am going to be working with Prabhu sir for the first time. 60 to 70 % of shooting will happen in Chennai. Rest of the shoot will happen in Karaikudi”.

Aari is also quite excited about his other projects, He has commenced in this year two important social initiatives called Karam Neetti Karam Thookku and Aarogya Unavae Aarogya Vaazhvu through his fan club. The first one is aimed at helping out immediate street, friends and people around us. The second one is to encourage organic farming and spread its awareness. As a part of this, an acre of land in Thiruvannamalai has been brought under this scheme, which would only use natural manure and not pesticides at all.
