SUIRYA’S 24 TRIMMED

Vikram K Kumar’s directorial, Suriya starrer 24 met its date with the theatres on the 6th of May to a uniform positive response. The film, a time travel one,  righty juxtaposes all the elements of an interesting entertainer which the audiences and critics have lapped up big time

24, produced by Suriya’s home banner 2D Entertainment was released at a duration of two hours and forty four minutes. After the first day shows, taking into consideration of the public’s opinion, the team has trimmed the film.

Now reports say that the length of the film is trimmed by close to 11 minutes from Saturday shows as most of the reviews were critical about the lag in Suriya-Samantha portions. It is also said that a few portions in the song Mei Nigara and Naan Una, were also trimmed, to keep up the pace of the story.

It sure is a smart move by Team 24.
