Superstar Rajinikanth apparently watched the latest crime thriller in town, 8 Thottakkal, yesterday, 17th April 2017 and immediately called the director and praised him for his work.

We got in touch with Sri Ganesh (8Thottakal director) to know what Rajinikanth told him, “Rajini sir called me after he watched the film and he said, ‘Extraordinary film, extraordinary writing and extraordinary performance.’ He also added that the editing and music were super. He wished me to make many more good films going forward”, says the director who is on cloud nine after getting a call from the Superstar!
