WHY DID RAJINI CANCEL HIS FAN MEET?

Superstar Rajinikanth was to meet his fans from 12th to 16th April in his Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam in Chennai.  But an audio and a statement from the actor revealed that he has cancelled this meet for now. He says through this audio

“It is almost a decade since I met you all and took photographs. You fans have been requesting me for this for a  long time, but it could not happen mainly because of lack of time.

An opportunity to meet you all had come in now and an event was planned from the 12th to 16th April at Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam, Chennai to meet and greet you all. It was arranged in such a way that I would meet, greet and eat with around 300 persons from a district and take care of 3 to 4 districts per day totaling to around 2000 per day. Since it was difficult to take a picture with every single person, we planned to take a picture with 8 people in one shot.

Since this was disappointing, you fans have put in a request that you are desirous of taking pictures individually. Heeding to your request, we have postponed this event. I would like to tell you that in future, I would meet and take pictures with the members of one or two districts a day. The date for this would be announced soon.

I sincerely hope that as my fans, you would understand this.”
