EXCLUSIVE - SIVAKARTHIKEYAN’S ROLE IN REMO REVEALED.

Resul Pookutty, the academy award winning sound designer, has been in the town to supervise the dubbing of the Sivakarthikeyan starrer Remo. During an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, Pookutty revealed about Sivakarthikeyan’s character and how the dubbing process of Remo is going to happen.
 

There were speculations about Sivakarthikeyan playing a female character, but now it is confirmed that he will be doing a female role, which will have high prominence in the movie. He also added that Sivakarthikeyan will not mimic a girl’s voice for that character. Instead, he will dub with his own voice, which will later be changed into a girl’s with the help of softwares. It looks like a highly challenging job to change the voice, and maybe that is why this ace sound designer was needed.
 

“Siva has done a great job in his role and he cannot speak in certain pitches while dubbing as tweaking those frequencies to convert it into a girl’s tone would be difficult in the software that I have planned to use” elaborated the Oscar man.

Remo features Sivakarthikeyan, Keerthy Suresh in lead roles, while cinematography is handled by experienced P.C.Sreeram. Music is by Anirudh and directed by debutant Bakkiyaraj Kannan.
