RANVEER AND DEEPIKA’S DIRECTOR ATTACKED ON THEIR SETS?

Padmavati is a Hindi film starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. It is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali who was attacked by members of the Rajput Karni Sena in Jaipur. Apparently, the director was slapped and his hair pulled on the sets by protesters who alleged that the film shows a much-celebrated Rajput queen in poor light.

Padmavati is a historical drama based on the story of queen Padmini and the protesters attacked Sanjay Leela as the film is supposed to have love scenes between queen Padmini and Alauddin Khilji, played by actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh respectively. The Rajput Karni Sena has demanded the removal of these scenes from Bhansali’s movie.
