AFTER KABALI, ITS RAJA MANTHIRI

Here are some of the events of the past few days in K Town listed as behindwoods quickies:

Santhanam starrer Dhilluku Dhuddu directed by Rambala reached the finish of its shooting process today, 15th March. Music for this movie is composed by S.Thamman and the project is produced under Sri Thenandal Films' banner.

-Nagarjuna-Tamannaah-Karthi starrer ‘Thozha’ music album was released on Feb 26 and it was received well by audiences both in Tamil and Telugu. Composer Gopi Sunder has completed the re-recording work for the film which will soon reach the censor board for certification.

-Kanaa Kaanum Kaalangal fame Irfan is playing the lead role in Aagam, a film based on former president  late Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam's Vision 2020. “Screenplay is the showstopper here and major efforts have been exerted into it”, he says opening up about the movie which is directed by Dr. Vijay Anand Sriram.
 

-Madras fame Kalaiyarasan who is also part of the Kabali cast is playing the lead role in a family entertainer titled Raja Mandhiri. The movie is directed by Usha Krishnan, a former associate of director Suseenthiran. Actor Kaali Venkat, after playing important roles in movies like Maari and Irudhi Suttru, acts as a brother to Kalaiyarasan in the movie.
 

- Yuvaraja who played late director K.Balachander’s son in the movie Rettaisuzhi, will be playing the lead role in the film titled Keluthi which is his directorial as well. Actress Kaniha will play the lead role opposite him in the movie.
