AFTER 14 YEARS WITH RAMYA KRISHNAN AND AFTER 16 YEARS WITH SHRUTI HAASAN....

As reported earlier, Kamal Haasan’s next film will be directed by renowned Malayalam filmmaker Rajeev Kumar. The duo had earlier planned to make a socially relevant multilingual film titled Appa Amma Vilayattu but looks like that project has been put on hold for the time being.

Kamal Haasan and Rajeev Kumar are apparently planning to make a film, a total laugh riot. Ramya Krishnan will be playing Kamal Haasan’s lady love while Shruti Haasan is expected to play Kamal’s daughter in the film. This film will supposedly go on floors in the month of April.

Ilayaraja takes care of the music department. It looks like a special project as it has some memorable reunion of sorts. Kamal teaming up with Rajeev Kumar after 27 years (Chanakyan 1989), Ilayaraja after 11 years (Mumbai Express 2005), Shruti Haasan (as an actor) after 16 years (Hey Ram) and Ramya Krishnan after 14 years (Panchathantiram 2002).
