Nandha Kishore, popular Kannada director, son of the popular South Indian baddie Sudhir will be the one directing the 2015 superhit Tamil film Vedalam in Kannada. Powerstar Puneeth Rajkumar will reprise the role of Ajith and the project might kickstart in the second half of 2016. Producer AM Ratnam will fund the Kannada version too.
Currently, Nandha Kishore is busy with his pre-production work for the Kannada remake of Oh My God starring superstars Upendra and Sudeep. This project is touted to start off by the end of February or in the first week of March.
Previously, Nandha Kishore has taken the credit for taking Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam and Attarintiki Daredi to Kannada as Adyaksha and Ranna respectively. Looks like Nandha Kishore is the master of remakes in Sandalwood.
