THIS FAMOUS TAMIL PRODUCER HAS WON THE BEST CRITIC - NATIONAL AWARD!

Producer Dhananjayan has bagged the National Award for Best Critic at the 64th National Awards. On this note, Dhananjayan thanked the media through a video. He said:

“It is an honour to win the National award for the second time. I have been writing my reviews on Tamil cinema for both English and Tamil media groups/channels. I have compiled all the reviews and sent them for the National award selection. I am so glad that they have chosen me as the Best Critic. There are many issues in Tamil cinema which I picked and gave solutions to. At this juncture, I thank the press, media and friends for being supportive and am glad to have won such an award for Tamil cinema.”

In an Exclusive chat with Behindwoods, Dhananjayan said:

"I don’t write reviews as such, I write a critical analysis about the industry on the whole. My way of writing is about the challenges and how to address them. The film criticism award is not for specific films’ criticism. Rather it involves a detailed study of the industry on the whole and it is a proud moment to know that they chose me for this category."
