Piracy has been a never ending problem for Tamil cinema, which is a bane for the industry.
Usually, pirated movies are shot from the theatres and made into DVDs. Reportedly, Vellore Seenu of S Pictures, on a lease basis, is running three theatres namely Kanniyappa, V.A.B., and Chellam Paradise in Vellore. The operating machines of these theatres have apparently been seized by the police, as they got the information that movies are shot in this theatre for making pirated DVDs.
The police have also arrested the managers and the theatre operators for this. Stay tuned and we will update you more on this.
