MADHAVAN TO REPLACE DULQUER SALMAAN?

Of late the craze for Malayalam films in Tamil Nadu has gone up. Many Malayalam films do well at the Tamil Nadu box office while some of them even get remade in Tamil. Dulquer Salmaan’s Charlie was one such film which was both critically acclaimed and commercially successful.

As reported earlier  the Tamil remake rights of Charlie have been purchased by Prateek Chakravorty and Shruti Nallappa, who are planning to produce the movie under the banner of Pramod Films.

Now the latest we hear is that actor Madhavan will apparently reprise Dulquer Salmaan’s role in the Tamil remake of Charlie. An official announcement regarding this is awaited. Martin Prakkat who directed the Malayalam version of Charlie might wield the directorial hat once again for this Tamil remake, but as of now nothing is confirmed.
