Many Vijay fans and movie buffs, in general, would have woken up to a pleasant surprise of Thalapathy 61 releasing for this year’s Diwali. We have a 5-day Diwali weekend this time from 18th to 22nd October.

Diwali is a special hunting ground for Vijay. Some of his biggest blockbusters like Thuppakki and Kaththi have been released during the festival of lights.  But do you know how many Vijay films have been released on Diwali till date? That would be 10 till now, and Thalapathy 61 would make the tally go up to 11 if it releases as planned.
