SHOCKING: POPULAR PLAYBACK SINGER PASSES AWAY

Popular 46 years old Kannada playback singer and music composer L.N. Shastri died on August 30th at his residence in Bangalore due to cancer.

 
L. N. Shastri began his career with 'Ajagajantara' in 1991. His famous song 'Kolumande Jangamadevaru' from the movie 'Janumada Jodi' (1961) is still considered to be the best-sung song from the singer and it also won him Karnataka State award. Shastri has sung more than 2000 songs and his wife, Suma is also a playback singer in Sandalwood industry. The industry is shocked by the news and popular stars like V Ravichandran, Vijay Prakash and others have paid their visit at his residence.
