WILL SURIYA AND JYOTHIKA GET THE POPULAR 90'S FILM TITLE?

The shooting of Jyothika’s upcoming film with Kuttram Kadithal fame Bramma is said to be 30% done. The team was spotted shooting a few scenes in Tindivanam recently.

Yesteryear popular female leads like Urvashi, Bhanu Priya and Saranya Ponvannan are reportedly playing pivotal roles in this film. Veteran actor Nassar and his son Luthfudeen Baashaa will also be sharing the screen yet again after Saivam and Idhu Enna Maayam.

This women-centric script will feature Ghibran’s music in it. Following Irudhi Suttru’s success art director Santhanam has been signed on to produce some realistic set work for this Jyothika film.

Chris Pictures and Suriya’s 2D Entertainments are jointly producing this project that is said to be about married women’s life. We also hear that this project has been tentatively titled as Magalir Mattum. "That is what the team calls the film internally", is what our sources say. We will have to wait and see if the team retains this title of Magalir Mattum as its official one or not.

It must be noted that Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Production had produced a film called Magalir Mattum in 1994 which had Revathy, Urvashi and Rohini in the lead. Kamal also made a special cameo appearance towards the end.
