AN INTERNATIONAL HONOUR FOR PARTHIEPAN!

The man of creativity and innovations, director and actor R.Parthiepan was honored with Distinguished Director award yesterday, 22nd of August. He has been honored with this award for his tendency to daringly break conventional rules to create astonishing stories and deliver exhilarating performances. Parthiepan talks to us about this excited feeling.

How does it feel getting this honor from an international institute?
It feels great and I am very happy to have received this honour for my 27 years of travel in the industry. I feel responsible to make more quality films and will continue to contribute my best to the film industry.

Your films are always innovative and fresh. Have you ever felt that you could have made more number of films than you have been doing now?

Of course yes, I have that feeling, but, at the same time that doesn’t affect me. I write the story and screenplay for my films on my own, and it takes some time to make it very creative. I do not remake or copy Hollywood films and stack up my film list, instead, I do what comes to me. I am happy in that way.

Updates on your next directorial Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga?

We are planning to start the shoot from August 29th. There are few discrepancies in finalizing the cast, which will be sorted out in very few days.
