‘Uriyadi 2’, the sequel to the 2016 hit film ‘Uriyadi’ had its teaser and audio released today (23rd March). During the audio launch, the director shared some interesting details about the film, and his experience on working in this film, post the huge success of ‘Uriyadi’.
Speaking about the music director Govind Vasantha, Vijay said “Govind is highly talented, has no ego and is extremely dedicated. These qualities are very rare and Govind has it all. He always gave more than 200% of what was expected out of him. He worked really hard for this movie.”
Speaking about Suriya, the producer of the movie, Vijay said “Why did Suriya produce this film? Was it because of monetary benefits? Definitely not, and everyone knows that. He has an unconditional love towards cinema and the people. He believed this movie will definitely be a good film for the people, and that’s why he produced it. Suriya sir, this film will definitely stand out for the confidence you’ve kept on it.”
While talking about Suriya’s production house 2D entertainment, he got a tad bit emotional. Tears rolled down when he said about the difficulties a movie has to face from the start until its release, and he said that he knew about the pain when difficult situations arise. He thanked 2D Entertainment for their top-notch execution in making this film happen.
‘Uriyadi 2’ stars Vijay Kumar, ‘Parithabangal’ fame Sudhakar and Vismaya in lead roles. It has music by Govind Vasantha and cinematography by Praveen Kumar. Linu M has handled the cuts. It is produced by Suriya under the banner 2D Entertainment.
