Vijay Sethupathi - Madhavan starrer ‘Vikram Vedha’, which released in the year 2017 became a monstrous hit, and received a lot of laurels. A lot of news surfaced on the internet regarding the Hindi and Telugu remake of the film. Recently, a piece of news that Nandamuri Balakrishna and Rajasekhar will be playing the leads in the Telugu remake of the film stormed the internet.
However, YNOT Studios, the producer of the movie released a press note regarding the same. It read “All the news regarding Sri Nandamuri Balakrishna and Dr.Rajasekhar starring in the Telugu remake of Vikram Vedha is absolutely false, and are baseless rumours.”
They also mentioned that the remake rights of Vikram Vedha remained with them. They said, “We also state that the remake rights of Vikram Vedha remain vested with us, and we request everyone to ignore such unauthentic news.”
‘Vikram Vedha’ starred Vijay Sethupathi, Madhavan and Shraddha Srinath in lead roles, and had music by Sam CS. It went on to become one of the most sought after films of the year and had a massive run at the box-office too.
