Kuttraparambarai, to be directed by Bharathi Raja and produced by his son Manoj for Manoj Creations, commences from today, the 3rd April in Perungamanallur near Usilampatti in Madurai district.
This film is reported to be about the martyrs who laid down their lives for the country during the pre-independence times protesting against a dreadful law of the British. Bharathi Raja will be directing the recordings of Professor Rathinakumar who has researched on this subject exhaustively.
It is reported that directors Lingusamy, Balaji Sakthivel, Suseenthiran, Magizh Thirumeni, Ponram, Ezhil, S S Staney, Pandiarajan and Saravana Subbiah are expected to attend the event along with cinematographer Kannan, lyricists Na Muthukumar, Kabilan Vairamuthu and others.
