As we had reported earlier, Anushka starrer Bhagmathi began today, the 7th of July. This period drama is directed by Ashok.  .

The current schedule is reported to involve Anushka, Jayaram, Asha Sharath and Unnikrishnan. Sources reveal that there are two periods, an ancient one and the current one.

The scene that was canned today, apparently was that of an investigation one which reporteldy had Anushka as the investigator. Madhie is the DoP for Bhagmathi.
