AAYIRATHIL ORUVAN 2: WILL THIS INSPIRE SELVARAGHAVAN?

Amudhan Priyan does a lot of things creatively. He has worked as an assistant director in Ashwin Saravanan’s Maya and also as a publicity designer for films like Darling, Demonte Colony, Vedalam, Jil Jung Juk, Maanagaram, AAA, Bruce Lee, Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada and Enai Noki Paayum Thotta (FL posters) to name some.

He has recently started a page called thefanmade.com through which he has released an all new poster of Pudhupettai 2 and Aayirathil Oruvan 2.  Director Selvaraghavan had also liked them and tweeted, "Thanks my friend. Posters like this make film makers like me to get so excited".

We catch up with Amudhan to find out more details:

Why suddenly Aayirathil Oruvan 2 and Pudhupettai 2 posters?
Although I work in many films as publicity designer, there are many films that I actually want to design one poster without any restriction. That’s the reason, I started the page fanmade.com and the first posters are Pudhupettai 2 and Aayirathil Oruvan 2.

I have been checking on the posters of Pudhupettai or Aayirathil Oruvan and realized that there are no fan made posters on these films. Now Baahubali 2 is out and people are appreciating but I feel that if such posters of Aayirathil Oruvan 2 come in now (as this film was the first one to release), it is sure to inspire people. That was the main idea.

Actually, I first did the poster for Pudhupettai 2. I wanted it to have a Tarantino look which is red rich. If the poster itself looks like this, it will give a different expectation to the film. If you see my poster, you will realize that its quality is different from the normal ones.

Since I did Pudhupettai 2, I followed it up with AO 2 also. I wanted to give a large scale feel that Reema Sen’s gang is coming with a bigger group to loot something more. 

What did Selvaraghavan say about this?
I am yet to talk to him. I am planning to meet him personally and gift him the posters.
