VEERA SANTHANAM PASSES AWAY

Painter Veera Santhanam who is known for his semi-figurative paintings passed away on Thursday, 13th July in Chennai. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.

Oviyar Veera Santhanam as he is fondly called, has acted in a few Tamil movies too. He was seen in films like Pizza, Kaththi and Anegan.

He was also a strong supporter of Sri Lankan Tamil cause and had participated in protests in support of them. We express our deepest condolences to his family and friends.
