1200 FOR BAAHUBALI!

It’s the Baahubali wave now all over and this has not spared the Orissa zoo too. At the state run Nandankanan zoo in Bhubaneshwar, a tiger cub of 13 months old was christened as Baahubali.

Interestingly, the zoo authorities had given the choice to name a total of seven cubs which were born last year, to visitors. They had a drop box in front of the tiger enclosure and apparently, out of the 2200 chits received for the name suggestion, 1200 wanted the name Baahubali.

The zoo authorities went by the popular demand and named one of the cubs as Baahubali. That is a powerful name for sure!
