Veteran all-rounder and Simbu's dad, T Rajendar was one of the main guests at the Puli audio launch held on August 2nd. His speech was undoubtedly one of the major highlights of the evening, and is sure to get lakhs of hits in YouTube. It was vintage TR and an entertainment feast.

TR went on to add that S.A.Chandrasekar was like an elder brother to him and that he tried to groom and develop Simbu like how SAC had done in the case of Vijay.

 

TR was soon in super-duper form with his trademark rhyming punches and tributes. All this drove Vijay to stand and thank him & gesture with folded hands. TR didn't stop there and soon touched upon Vijay's generous support in the recent Vaalu release issue.

 

"Despite knowing that Simbu is another actor's fan, Vijay helped for Vaalu. There is also a tribute to that actor in a song in Vaalu, but still Vijay helped graciously", said TR referring to the fact that Simbu was an Ajith fan, and the crowd started going crazy.

 

After TR's unstoppable 'rhyming' storm, Vijay went up on stage spontaneously, hugged him and honored him. There was then a unanimous standing ovation all across the auditorium and it was definitely the emotional high point of the evening, and the biggest news pulling episode.
