THE RAJINI EFFECT FOLLOWS IN VIKRAM'S NEXT....

The titles of Superstar films have mostly been simple but massy and powerful. Reusing Rajinikanth film titles has now become a routine practice by the contemporary filmmakers.

Rajini titles can be easily remembered and it also gives an added edge to films that are named after his films.

Ninaithaale Inikkum, Mappillai, Pollathavan,  Padikaathavan, Murattu Kallai, Kazhugu, Naan Mahan Alla, Rajathi Raja and Paayum Puli (Suseenthiran – Vishal’s upcoming film) are some the of movie titles named from Rajini film titles apart from straight remakes like Billa and Thillu Mullu which also retained the original title.

Now the latest we hear is that Vikram Prabhu’s next film, with Naveen Raghavan of Manja Pai is rumored to be titled as Thani Kaattu Raja  which apparently is named after the Rajini film of 1982.
