6 AND COUNTING...

Vijay Sethupathi is one actor who does not seem to mind about the volume or frequency of his films hitting the market and is game for any good concept. Here are a set of updates on this new-wave Superstar.

- His project with Soodhu Kavvum fame director Nalan has completed shooting. The project is getting its DI and dubbing done now. This romantic comedy is getting shaped up with cinematography by Dinesh Krishnan, editing by Leo John Paul, music composed by Santhosh Narayanan and art direction by Vijay Aathinathan.

- His next cop flick with director Arun Kumar of Pannaiyarum Padminiyum fame titled as Sethupathi will start to roll from 23rd September. Remya Nambeesan plays the lady lead while Nivas K Prasanna scores the music.

- The debutant Ranjit directorial Mellisai is planning to block its release date post the release of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. The teaser of this film is expected to release next week and the audio in another 20 days or so.

- One other project in Vijay Sethupathi’s kitty is Seenu Ramasamy’s Idam Porul Yaeval under Thirrupathi Brothers production banner which is yet to settle on a release date. Then there is Iraivi too, which is nearing the finish line.
