TN BOX-OFFICE: TRISHA ILLANA NAYANTHARA CONTINUES TO MINT MONEY

We had already reported about Trisha Illana Nayanthara's (TIN) great opening, last week. The first 4 days gross was around 9.67 crores. The film continued to do well after that too, and the gross at the end of the 2nd weekend in TN is reported to be around 18 to 19 crores. After tax cuts, the net is said to be around 16 crores, which is a commendable achievement indeed.

 

Lead hero GV Prakash, the producers Cameo Films and the distributors Studio Green are on cloud nine with this success across all centers and particularly the mass belts. The film is also a musical hit with the music rights reportedly getting a good sum for the makers. The satellite rights are under negotiation with leading players in the fray.

 

TIN has also been appreciated by leading directors such as Vetri Maaran and Karu Palaniappan for being a bold, trendy and a current film. Producer T.Siva of Amma Creations has also repeatedly talked about the film, at recent events, for being very controlled and well-planned in its promotional expenses.
